Take 3!! Date Correction – July 26-27 (thanks Tom Patten, Ralph Blasey and everyone else making me feel real popular right now!)

We are excited to announce our 2024 Michigan BASS Nation State Championship (Adult) presented by The Outdoorsmen Pro Shop will be held on July 26-27 in Grand Haven, Michigan on the Grand River and connecting waters (weather permitting.) We will not have a “blow day” in the schedule this year. If inclement weather threatens and we cannot go out on Lake Michigan, the tournament will be restricted to the Grand River and connecting inland waters. Tournament Director Chad Timmer indicated “due to higher water the Grand has been fishing well the last several years and an 18-22lb daily bag is not unlikely.” Timmer has been tournament director for 4 years now and is committed to making our State Championship a competition that all members can enjoy. In 2024 we will award 12 qualifications (6 Pro and 6 Co-Anglers) to the BASS National Championship to the top anglers. Another 10 Pro and 10 Co-Anglers will earn invites to the BASS National Championship Qualifier. The path to the Classic is long, but in 2024 a number of our members will definitely have a chance to advance their dream to be on the BIG STAGE competing against the BEST anglers in the World!!
We also know this is the Coast Guard weekend in Grand Haven. Please plan ahead and book your lodging now. We will make further announcements as the season progresses.
