Standing Strong for Greg Quillin – An Update from Michigan BASS Nation

29 May by Bret Straffon

Good evening, Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Division Family,
We want to take a moment to update you on something close to all of our hearts. Many of you may have already heard that our dear friend Greg Quillin has been hospitalized.
First and foremost, we’re asking everyone to please lift Greg and his family in your thoughts and prayers. In this difficult time, we also ask that you respect their privacy as they focus on his recovery.
What we can share is that Greg was taken by ambulance to the hospital early Tuesday morning and remains under medical care. Doctors are running a series of tests to determine the cause of his condition. While there are still many unknowns, the outlook is hopeful, and they believe Greg will make a full recovery.
In the meantime, Kevin Carr and several dedicated parents have been in close contact with MBN leadership, and we want to reassure everyone that the Youth Tournament Season will continue.
The MBN Youth Division has weathered tough times before. Time and again, we’ve come together—not just as anglers, but as a community—and found a way forward. This is one of those moments, and we know we can count on your support, strength, and unity.
Together, we’ll keep Greg in our hearts and the spirit of our Youth Division going strong.
Sincerely, Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation – Where the BEST Compete
