PROANGLER DIVISION: What a showdown on Lake St. Clair! After two days of hard-fought competition, Owen Hentschel (Cherry Capital) takes the crown with a massive 45.79 lbs, anchored by a 6.68 lb kicker. But it came down to ounces—Rylan Hamlin (GEM) nearly stole it with 45.73 lbs, just .06 back in a photo finish. Mitch Straffon (GEM) rounded out the top three with 42.87 lbs, while Lucas Toliver (GEM) and Brian Vandermay (WM Bassmasters) completed the Top 5, both breaking the 41 lb mark.From monster bags to heartbreaking penalties, the Pro side delivered fireworks all weekend!
COANGLER DIVISION: On the back deck, it was Scott Solomon (Four Flags) who proved unstoppable, weighing in 25.36 lbs over two days, including a 6.04 lb big bass, sealing the victory. Brian Kruger (MI Bassmasters) fought hard for second with 22.34 lbs, while Reid Culler (Auburn) claimed third at 21.44 lbs. Rounding out the Top 5 were Austin Koleszar (Lake Nepessing) with 20.84 lbs and Dan Daniel (Cherry Capital) at 19.57 lbs.These CoAnglers battled tough conditions, but consistency and clutch big fish made the difference.
